The classic demo tape used to be a simple recording with typically few technical changes of the recording. Such “tape recordings” were used for demonstration purposes in particular vis-à-vis music users or recording companies related. The quality of the recording was mostly not optimal.
Today demos will be shown in the Digital rule with partly quite medium technical standard and are produced in a quality that can be represented. The data carrier plays not relevant in this respect.
