Cinema Film Collecting Societies
(Kinofil-Verwertungsgesellschaften)
In the cinematographic sector, the following three (four) collecting societies administer the rights on behalf of the film producers. The film producer can choose the collecting society in which they want to become a member of:
GWFF: Gesellschaft zur Wahrnehmung von Film- und Fernsehrechten mbH (Society for the Administration of Film and Television Rights)
VGF: Verwertungsgesellschaft für Nutzung an Filmwerken (Collecting society for use in cinematographic works)
VG Bild-Kust: Verwertungsgesellschaft Bild-Kunst (Society for the Exploitation of Image-Art)
GÜFA: Gesellschaft zur Übernahme und Wahrnehmung von Filmaufführungsrechten mbH (Company for the Acquisition and Administration of Film Performing Rights)
